Custom printed labels that bring your brand to life. Find the right materials, colour and finishes for your product—with practical guidance from our team, from the first idea to the finished roll.
Give your product a distinctive profile with labels shaped to suit your packaging. Choose familiar circles, ovals and rectangles, or explore a custom contour that follows your artwork. We’ll help you balance visual impact, space for product information and practical application on your container.
Colour & Finish
Bring your brand to life with rich colour, fine detail and a finish that complements your design. Choose matte for a softer look, gloss for added vibrancy, or spot coatings to highlight selected elements. The right combination enhances your artwork while helping protect the printed surface.
Multi-SKU Savings
Combine multiple SKUs using the same label size and material to qualify for volume pricing on your total order. Choose the quantities you need for each SKU while lowering your cost per label across the range.
Make Every Label Part of the Story.
Keep your core brand design consistent while personalised details, changing patterns and unique graphic combinations give each label a fresh look—and customers a reason to look closer.
Make It Personal.
Change names, sequential numbers, barcodes or selected graphics within a single print run. Keep your logo, colours and core design consistent while giving each label a detail of its own.
Create named gifts for customers, numbered editions for a special release, or event labels with a personal touch. We’ll help you plan the variable artwork and data for your project.
Change the Perspective.
Mosaic transforms a master pattern through cropping, scaling and rotation. Each label reveals a different part of the artwork, creating a series of distinctive designs with a shared visual identity.
Explore flowing textures, botanical patterns or abstract artwork for a coordinated range. The pattern changes from label to label while fixed elements, such as your brand name and product information, stay in place.
Mix Up the Possibilities.
Collage rearranges selected graphic elements into different compositions. A shared set of illustrations, colours and brand details can create a family of labels that feels connected, with something new to discover on each one.
Build limited editions, seasonal collections or collectible series that invite a second look. We’ll work with your artwork to define which elements can move and which should stay consistent.
Offset-Level Quality.Digital Flexibility.
Our liquid-ink digital printing process uses fine ink particles and a heated blanket to transfer a smooth, thin ink film to your label.
The thin layer preserves the material’s character, with crisp lettering, fine detail and smooth gradients for a refined, offset-like finish.
Combine designs, personalise labels and order practical quantities—without conventional printing plates.

Great Labels Start With the Right Material.
Your label’s character starts with what it’s printed on. The substrate—the paper or film behind your design—adds texture, colour, transparency or shine that goes beyond the printed artwork. Textured paper brings a crafted feel, white film provides a clean backdrop for colour, clear film lets the container become part of the design, and metallic film brings light and reflection into the artwork.
Same bottle. Same design. Four different impressions. – Explore how the material changes the look below.
Paper & Texture
A natural, tactile starting point for a crafted or premium look. Paper adds warmth and character, with textures that complement detailed illustrations, understated typography and designs inspired by tradition.
White Film
An opaque canvas for bold graphics and crisp, readable product information. Its clean white background gives colours a strong foundation, helping everything from fine details to vibrant designs stand out.
Clear Film
Let the container show through for a clean, no-label look that makes your product part of the design. Selective white ink adds opacity behind chosen colours and details while leaving other areas transparent.
Metallic Film
Build reflective highlights into your artwork for added depth and shine. White ink controls where the metallic effect shows, creating contrast between shimmering accents, rich colours and opaque details.
Material, adhesive and protective finish work together. We recommend testing the selected construction on your actual container.
Press Proofs See It. Refine It. Approve It.
Your vision deserves more than an on-screen preview. A press proof brings your artwork to life on your chosen label material, so we can fine-tune the details together before the full print run.
See your colours in print. Review how your brand colours, images and fine details reproduce.
Experience your chosen material. See how its texture, transparency or shine influences your design.

Details That Deserve A Closer Look.
Add depth, shine and texture to your labels with foil, embossing and specialty finishes.
Your label should reflect the care you put into your product—and hold up wherever it goes. For L’Acadie Vineyards, that includes the ice bucket.
“We have been using Maritime Labels and Packaging since we first released our wines. Professional labels are important for a small premium sparkling winery and we appreciate their ability to efficiently produce small volumes. Their labels are great quality and apply to our bottles well, even staying on sparkling bottles in an ice bucket.”L’Acadie Vineyards

Planning Your Order
What is your minimum order?
Custom label orders start at $250.00. Your label size, material and finishing options determine the quantity—we’ll help you find the best fit for your product and budget.
What do I need for a quote?
Your label dimensions, quantity, number of designs and container type are a great start. Include any preferred material or finish, and let us know your target date.
What artwork files do you need?
An editable, print-ready PDF is preferred, with bleed beyond the cut edge and important text and graphics kept safely inside it. Please outline your fonts or supply them with any live text. Working in Adobe Illustrator? Its Package feature collects the original artwork, linked images and fonts for handoff.
We can also assess Photoshop, PNG, TIFF and JPEG files. Raster artwork should be at least 300 dpi at the actual print size; suitability depends on your design and finishing requirements.
Using Canva or unsure about your files? Send us what you have—we’ll guide you through the next steps. Visit our graphics page for artwork support.
Allow at least 1/16″ (1.6 mm) of bleed beyond every cut edge and keep important text and logos at least 1/16″ (1.6 mm) inside it. Diagram not to scale. Can I combine multiple SKUs for volume pricing?
Yes! Combine multiple SKUs using the same label size and material in one order. Your combined quantity qualifies for volume pricing, helping lower your cost per label while allowing you to choose the quantity you need for each SKU.
Share your designs and quantities for each SKU, and we’ll help plan your combined order.
Can you make a custom shape?
Yes. Alongside our selection of shapes and sizes, we offer custom shape options. Our team can help you explore what works for your container.
Materials, Colour & Performance
Which label material and adhesive are right for my product?
The best choice starts with your container and how your product is used. Tell us what the container is made of, whether labels are applied warm or cold, and what they’ll encounter afterward—from refrigeration and moisture to oils or frequent handling. We’ll recommend a material and adhesive suited to those conditions.
Will my labels hold up to moisture, refrigeration or oils?
We offer options suited to these conditions, but performance depends on the combination of material, adhesive and protective finish. How the label is applied matters too—including the container’s surface, temperature and any moisture present during labelling.
Tell us what your labels will encounter from application through everyday use. We’ll help you choose suitable options and recommend testing on your container.
Not sure which finish to choose?
Start with the basics: matte for a soft, understated look, or gloss for a bright, polished finish. For something extra, explore foil, embossing and special effects that add shine, texture and dimension. Tell us the look and feel you have in mind—we’ll help you choose the right options for your label. Ask about our print options book for inspiration.
How many colours can you print?
We print in full colour using CMYK—cyan, magenta, yellow and black—for vibrant photographs, detailed illustrations and smooth colour blends. Many Pantone colours can be closely reproduced using this four-colour process.
For an even wider colour range, we offer seven-colour process printing, adding orange, green and violet to reproduce more Pantone colours and bring richer artwork to life.
White ink is also available for clear and metallic labels, helping colours stay bold while leaving selected areas transparent or metallic. Share your artwork and brand colours, and we’ll recommend the best approach.
How will my colours look in print?
Screens display colour using RGB light, while we print using CMYK inks. Some colours—especially bright, vivid shades—can look different in print. Your label material and finish also influence the final appearance.
For added confidence, we offer an affordable press proof on your chosen material, so you can see how your artwork and colours will print before approving your order. Ask us about a press proof when requesting your quote.
Can I try a sample on my container before ordering?
Yes. An affordable press proof on your chosen material can be cut to size and applied to your container to assess colour, fit and adhesion. We can also supply samples of other labels produced on the same material to help you evaluate suitability.
For the most useful results, test samples under your actual labelling and product-use conditions. Tell us what you’d like to check, and we’ll recommend the right sample option.
Application & Delivery
Can you supply labels for my labelling equipment?
Yes. Share your equipment specifications, required roll direction and maximum outside roll diameter. We’ll also confirm compatibility with a 3-inch inside-diameter core so your rolls are prepared for your setup.
If a co-packer applies your labels, ask them for their roll requirements and send those along.

Where do you ship?
We ship coast to coast across Canada, with standard ground and expedited options available.
For the continental United States, ground shipping is available with transportation and customs clearance arranged by the purchaser through their own carrier and customs broker. Your broker can advise on applicable tariffs, duties and import requirements, helping you plan ahead and avoid surprises.
How can label choices support my packaging sustainability goals?
Start with the complete package: your container, label material, adhesive and the collection systems available to your customers. Tell us which goals matter to you—such as recycled content or compatibility with a recycling process—so we can investigate suitable options and confirm the supporting specifications for your project.
